Parade the Circle

We invited Ainsley's friend Landon and his family to join us at Parade the Circle this year. I should note that Ainsley & Landon are more than just friends - Landon asked me if he could marry Ainsley. And she refers to him as her husband. (I wonder if the bride's or groom's parents are responsible for the juice boxes at the reception. But anyway...)

We had a great time with Landon, his mom & dad, and his little sister, Cece. This year's parade seemed even bigger and more vibrant than in the past. It is certainly a wonderful event to celebrate culture in our city.

Happy Birthday, Ainsley!

For Ainsley's 4th birthday, we celebrated with a Frozen party. We decorated the dining room with Anna, Elsa, Sven & Olaf. We enjoyed cupcakes with Frozen cupcake toppers and a Dairy Queen princess ice cream cake that Ainsley had been eyeing for months.

Ainsley got a lot of wonderful gifts from the whole family!

Ainsley asked all day when it was time to sing "Happy Birthday." She was convinced that she wasn't going to turn 4 until we sang. So when it was finally time, we had one happy birthday girl, wearing her birthday crown from school, along with her Elsa cape and t-shirt. Happy Birthday, sweet princess!
