Eggshelland

The day before Easter, we went to Eggshelland - a house in Lyndhurst that decorates with thousands of colored eggshells. This year's theme was The Muppets, and they used over 38,000 eggshells to create the display.

Then we went to the park for more fun. Ainsley LOVES the sliding board - I think Nathan put her up there 20 times, and she still asked for more!

Ainsley was hungry when we came home, so she took out the entire bag of Cheerios and started popping them in her mouth. So silly!

Visiting Grandma & Papa

Last week, we went to Milwaukee to visit Grandma & Papa Molnar. They had big plans for us during our trip.

We went to an Irish festival on St. Patrick's Day, where we met a couple of friendly leprechauns and did some crafts.

Later that evening, we had an Easter Egg Hunt in the backyard. That Easter Bunny - he knew we were going to be at Grandma & Papa's house a few weeks before Easter, so he hid the eggs early!

Apparently Roxy was jealous of all the attention Ainsley was getting, so she climbed up on my lap. She hasn't jumped on anyone's lap in years! She must miss her sister. :)

Then Ainsley had to be on Mommy's legs, too. Roxy didn't want to share her spot, so she jumped off soon after Ainsley arrived.

The next day, we visited the Children's Museum in Milwaukee. It's a really nice place, and Ainsley had a great time.

Unfortunately, Ainsley was a bit under the weather during our trip, so we spent a fair amount of time just hanging out at Grandma & Papa's house.

Ainsley has several chairs that are just her size, but the other night, she decided to relax with a sailing magazine in the cat's bed. Also her size, but perhaps a bit cozier? 

The next day, she crawled in the bed with the magazine and her toy cell phone. I guess you never know when you're going to get an important call.

Hop, hop, hop!

It's hard to 'think Spring' when snow is still on the ground, but Ainsley and I did our best when we visited Easter Bunnylane yesterday. Great Grandma and Grandpa Paul Shellhammer took us back to Kraynak's Garden Store to view the Easter display.

It was just as cute as the Christmas display, and Ainsley loved every inch of it. She squealed with delight and shook her little bottom to the music - even other visitors got a kick out of how much fun Ainsley was having.

Children's Museum

Last week, we took Ainsley on her first trip to the Children's Museum of Cleveland. We spent most of our time in the house, the grocery store, and the big red barn. It was so much fun to watch Ainsley, because she knew exactly what to do in each of the rooms. She really does watch us and mimic us - so ready to be part of the grown-up world!

Ainsley really had a good time, and we're looking forward to our next visit!
